They are all committed to raising cattle in a humane and environmentally responsible way. But what does that mean to you and me?
Well, it begins with stewardship – which is the careful and responsible management of our environment and natural resources. Beef producers need to be good environmental stewards in order for their businesses to be successful. They need to be stewards of the animals, stewards of the land, stewards of the plants and stewards of the water. And because raising beef tends to be a family-oriented business, the people involved in the industry tend to be dedicated to leaving the environment in better shape for future generations while raising quality beef.
